Vegetable Spring Rolls

A delicious and yummy veg spring roll recipe. A crispy outer wrapper with delicious filling inside makes a veg spring roll recipe a must have for all occasions.

The veg spring roll recipe calls for minimal ingredients which will be already available in your pantry. The veg spring roll recipe is a very delicious and easy to make. The kids love the veg spring roll. Its crunchy, delicious taste is what makes it a huge hit at parties. The veg spring roll recipe tastes great served with sweet and sour sauce.


Prep Time: 50 mins. Cooking Time: 5 mins Total Time: 55 mins

Ingredients:

1 onion finely sliced

2 spring onions finely sliced

2 carrots finely chopped

1 cup cabbage(shredded)

Oil for frying

1/2 tsp Salt

1/4 tsp white pepper powder

2 tbsp soy sauce

Spring roll wrappers

5 cloves of garlic(minced)

2 cups bean sprout


Instructions:

1. Heat oil in a non stick pan. Saute the garlic, onion, spring onions, carrots, cabbage and bean sprout and cook for 7mins.

2. Add pepper powder and soy sauce and mix.

3.Take the pan off from the heat and set aside to cool. 4. Place a portion of the stuffing on one side of spring roll wrapper. Fold in the edges and roll tightly. And repeat the whole process. Apply water to sealed it. 5. For frying the spring rolls, heat oil to medium high temperature. Deep fry 5-7 spring roll (lumpia) at a time. It should only take about 5mins to cooked the rolls.The spring roll(lumpia) will be nicely brown when it's done. 6.Then remove and place on a paper towel to absorb the excess oil.

7. Ready to served.
