This pork shoulder recipe combines pork shoulder with apple cider in a slow cooker, where it is cooked for several hours until tender.
Prep time: 10 mins. Cook time: 8 hrs.
Ingredients: 1 pork shoulder or bone in
2 cups cider
1 medium apples,(peeled and sliced)
2 whole cloves garlic (chopped)
1 oregano
1 tbsp salt
1 tbsp cracked black pepper
Instruction:
1. Heat slow cooker/crockpot. 2. Place 1/3 of the sliced apples into the bottom of your cooker, place pork roast on top 3. Combine all other ingredients and pour over the roast.
4. Cover and cook for 8 hours on low 5. Meat should pull off the bone easily once cooked. 6. Serve with baked potatoesand steamed veggies
